in terms of the presentation, we got some feedback from Brian. we need to visualise more about our research points in the presentation. because it is only 3 minutes, and do not actually have too much time to cover all the research. using diagram and images to catch the audience’s attention would be a good idea.
-Sacrifice information for clarity. Better to sum things up in a few words than have lots of information people will struggle to read with the small time limit.
-Slide map- Have a map of Key theoretical terms we’ve all seen in our papers.

Example Question -‘How do the flows of transnational tv affect the national identities of other east Asian countries?’ Challenge and reinforce national identity?
-In regards to the ‘Why do we care?’
Things to think about using:
-Where Australia is, media regional player with a diverse set of audiences
-Australia is also a site for more diverse media
-Mainstream US stuff has become richer because of Asian media
-Globalisation causing homogeneity- individual cultural artefacts
-Exert symbolic preference through cultural artefacts preferences between each country.
